Does Vero have a Naturalist like Hilton Head? VB vs. HH ?s

WHile at Hilton Head last year, we LOVED Christopher and did every single activity he was involved in. He really added a lot to our family trip. Does Vero have a Naturalist? I remember Christopher saying there were only two in the entire company...HH and Animal Kingdom. But does Vero have that or something like it? Does Vero offer the same kinds of activities that HH does? Gyotaku??? Are the two similar in the entertainment they have to offer?

There is a naturalist at Vero - I think her name is Mary Ann (or maybe Marilyn). Very knowledgible and great with guests.

We were at VB in March, and the ocean was very rough. There was to be a scheduled beach walk on Wednesday morning, but it was cancelled because there was no beach to walk on! So, there are nature type activities that are planned.

Mary Ann the naturalist at VB is great, one day we did a walking tour of the area looking at the plants, trees and flowers that at the resort and then another morning we were up early and took a beach walking tour looking for sea beans (seeds from tropical plants that travel the ocean for years and end up washing up on the beach in front of the resort) That tour was a personal favorite of mine, she knew a lot about the subject matter and was fun to talk with. While on the tour we also watched a school of Mullet being chased by Tarpon and a shark chasing the Tarpon just 25 yds or so off the beach, overall a pretty cool tour that morning!

Anyone know if they offer the dead fish painting?

We loved HH enough to want to spend a week there and more. Would you want to spend a week at Vero Beach? Is there enough offered to do that you would not want to leave the resort?
