Does Universal Have Parades?

Do either of the parks have parades?
We love the parades at WDW, but have never seen one at Universal.
I can't find any info about parades on the Universal site.
Also.....any suggestions on a good place to grab a quick bite to eat while in IOA and US?
We leave in 5 days for a 10 day vacation!!

They only have parades around holidays. In December they have the Macy's Parade over at US, and some time soon they will start having the Mardi Gras parades--but I think they are only on Saturday nights.

IOA--quick bites
Cafe 4 pizza, pasta
Burger Digs--burgers
Thuder Falls Terrace--ribs, chicken

US--quick bites
Louis--pizza, pasta
Midway--Nathan's hot dogs
Richters--burgers

Bummer....oh well....we will always have the WDW parades to enjoy.

When we went in December they had the Macys parade every night starting Dec 9th until first week in january. The parade was fantastic.

There is a marvel hero parade at Islands of Adventure at Marvel Super Hero Island. My kids enjoy it and afterwards they get to take pictures taken with them and have their books signed too. Look at the park map for times.

The Mardi Gras celebration starts this Saturday night! Complete with parade and beads and Hall & Oates.

we love seeing balloonopolis, but the Macy's is just an OK parade IMO. Mardi Gras is a flippin' sweet time, however.

Festival of the Dead is usually the most extravagent parade. Too bad they barely ever do it anymore.

When we were at IOA in March we were enjoying a slushie drink in Marvel Comic Island when all of a sudden we heard all these whistles and loud music. We then saw various super heros riding on ATV's down the middle of the street. They broke off in different directions to various stands in that section of the park and posed for pictures & autographs. I don't know if you can actually classify that as a parade. The ATV portion lasted all of 1 minute. I don't know if there are set times for this or not. But the kids enjoyed it. I wonder if there is a fireworks display at night?! What about somekind of show in the lagoon at US? It looked like there were things in the water to be used for a show, but we didn't see one when we were there.

They had fireworks last year from july5 to august 13.
