Does Univeral have anything similar to the Perry adventure?

We are thinking of switching our disney trip to a Universal / DC / SW trip, but my son really loves the Perry/Kimpossible adventure at Epcot. Does Universal have anything that would be remotely similar? He likes the tech and puzzle solving aspects of that adventure, and the interactivity (robots popping out and what-not).

Only thing I can think of is in the Harry Potter areas. You buy an interactive wand which causes certain special effects to occur at various point around the two HP areas.

same.The interactive wands are fun, but they aren't cheap by any stretch

My dd was 8 and loved the interactive spells. You have to Move the wand a certain way then stuff happens eg things move in shop window, it rains. Got her talking to cms same way Epcot one does- they are stationed nearby to help if needed. There are also some hidden ones not on the map. Wand was $50 but dd did use it a lot and it is coming back with us this year!
