i dont really think its a problem that adults post here, but i do sometimes feel like my privacy is being violated by my mom. all i have to do is watch what i say, i guess.

Nah, having adults here doesn't bother me. Does it bother you guys that I'm an adult? Legally anyway, I turned 18 last August. Does that mean I'm not a teen and I can't post here? Nope. I still consider myself a teen, and I feel I fit in with you guys because my best friends in the world are 16, 14, and 12 years old and if I socialize with preteens and midteens in real life, why shouldn't I socialize with that age group on the DIS as well? Gradually I will move over to the CB more and more as I get more comfortable, but right now I'm in between stages here. An adult and a teen at the same time.

And like was said before, we're in the Trip Planning forum for a reason. I have even gone into the Families With Small Children board (or whatever it's called, lol!) even though my family has no small children anymore. If someone's asking for advice or can answer a question, it doesn't matter where they go.

i dont mind the adults posting their opinions or the ocasional comment. what would bug me is if they posted all the time like i do on a thread like LOTP but they don't so im not complaining

This thread just is irking me so bad!

We're in the trip planning section of the site for a reason. Its so adults can as our opinions on things.

There are 100K posters to this site. Its not like its private. An adult posting here isn't doing anyone any harm. Its not like they're snooping around.

I don't mind if they post with us too. God. Its a public message board. I can post in the UK board if I want to, and I have. I live in middle tennessee.

Sometimes they have really interesting perspectives to some of the debates. Or sometimes they're so and so's mother. They can post here. Just like we can post everywhere else.

i personally think we should be under miscillaneous(sp?).
