I just called and made a reservation for POFQ with the new Disney Club discount. I asked for a King bed (knowing it would cost more) but he said that was unavailable with this code. I offered to pay more per night, but he said it was not an option. Also, if I make changes 21 days before arrival, there is a $10 change fee. And, I had to pay the entire amount today. I asked him about just making a deposit and he said I had to pay in full today. We are traveling at the beginning of January. Some of these things just sounded weird, was I told right by this CM??

Sounds like the CM is mixed up. They sometimes need to be reminded that Disney Club reservations are PIF 21 days prior to arrival, not 45 days. I'd call back. And, unless something has changed recently, DC reservations may be cancelled more than 5 days out without penalty.

It is possible that the King Bed room category is sold out with the discount. But, you can always book another category and keep calling back to see if the King bed type opens up.

I don't know if it was the resort or the CM but I just received a reservation at CSR for a king bed at 106.50 a night. I Had no problem and the CM I spoke to tried multiple codes to see which one worked best.
Did you call the CRO or the DCTC? I called DC travel and they had all the correct info
