No it would not. You park so far away and have to catch the ferry or monorail, mess with strollers, walking some distances....It absolutely would not work at 7:30. My reason for a pre park ADR is to get in to an empty MK. It is glorious! I always want to be at the front of the early ADR line at the tap styles. (They are on the very far left). Disney bus transportation is the best way to go for early ADR at MK .

Good to know. We really don't want to make any rookie mistakes with getting to the parks.

Thanks so much! I would love to take the kids to Trex but they are terrific of dinosaurs. No Dino rides for them. Super bummed.

We will have our truck with us. Would leaving the hotel at 730 work for an 8am BOG time?

Since Dinosaurs are out.... The kids might like Rain Forest Cafe. Jungle animals instead of dinosaurs. And......I like the food and atmosphere at San Angel. I only went once and got a kind of sampler of basic fare. Yum!

My husband might kill me if I ask him his opinion on our ADRs again. Would you mind telling me if these sound like good choices?

Checking into Port Orleans French Quarter around 12. Driving from Jacksonville, Florida. Driving from Virginia the day before. Kids ages 9(boy) and girl (5).

Arrival day.
Raglan road - dinner (530/6)
Our son is obsessed with Irish culture.

Monday- AK/Epcot
Flaming tree BBQ- lunch
San Angels Inn -dinner (we are really into authentic Mexican food, from San Diego).

Tuesday - MK/Epcot
BOG -breakfast (pre-park opening)
QS - lunch
Teppan Edo - dinner
Illuminations

Wednesday - no parks
Chef Mickey - breakfast (9)
Bippity boppity- 230, Disney Springs
1900 - dinner (6pm)

Thursday - DH
Sci-fi - lunch or dinner
Fantasmic, Star Wars fireworks

Friday - MK
Lunch - quick service
Dinner - quick service
Wishes Fireworks

Saturday- check out

I'm losing my mind trying to plan these ADRs. This will be our first trip with kids and we want it to be magical. I don't foresee us going back to WDW in the next 5 years. We prefer to take Disney Cruises.

I think your choices are great! I will say I have eaten at San Angel Inn and found the food to be average but I am not a fan of Mexican food in general. I did however liked the ambiance very much.

WDW is Huge. Don't underestimate travel times, even with your own vehicle. You need to drive strange roads- often in traffic. You need to find a parking spot. You usually need to wait for and board a tram. You need to wait in line for bag check/ security. You need to line up at the Tapstyles to enter and then walk to a potentially distant restaurant. I always budget 60 -90 minutes.

I like my mexican food very spicy, but I thought the food was a bit bland. I am not a connoisseur, but I loved the mexican food in san diego, and San Angel inn was just so-so.

I hear most people don't like it because it's not Americanized Mexican food. It's truly authentic, which being from San Diego is hard to find anywhere but there.

How you would describe the food?

I would describe it as flavorless, which is not particularly authentic to Mexican food in my experience.
