Does this seem correct? No fireworks 10/8-11

We'll be arriving at DL on the holiday, Monday, October 8th. DLR is open until 11pm that night, yet no fireworks are listed on the online calendar. And none listed until that next Friday, October 12.

Does this seem correct?

We were hoping for fireworks on at least one night of our stay. Thanks in advance for your replies!

It's officially the off-season, so they only offer RDCT on Fri and Sat nights.

I would guess that there is a slight chance they may offer them on Monday (even though it's not scheduled) if the parks have a high volume of people b/c of the holiday, but don't count on it. You could inquire at City Hall at some point on Monday if it isn't listed in the Times sheet that day.

My understanding is that they try to limit the fireworks during school nights, because it is quite loud to the surrounding area. I live 10 miles away as the crow flies and if I pay attention I can hear faint booms, it is louder the closer you get obviously.

They have fireworks on the week ends only as far as I can see.

The PP's are correct, they will not likely be adding them that night as it is a school night and Disney has an agreement with the city to limit fireworks to weekdays during peak seasons only and weekends only during the traditional school year. Columbus Day is not a school holiday around here, so they are likely being considerate to their neighbors who have to work/go to school that week. They are quite loud for the residents who have to deal with it every night, we live 15 miles away and we hear it every night that it is scheduled, and have for as long as I can remember. Not loud this far away, but if we can hear it this far away you can only imagine what it sounds like to the residents that live on Walnut!

You know I have never paid attention to the sound. I do live 14.6 miles away and I don't think I have ever heard them. I am going to have to listen out for it now.
