Does this pin (button) have any value?

It isn't listed on Pinpics but I know one of you pinophiles can help me. I was handed a button when I walked into the Legend of the Lion King show in MK commemorating the 60,000 performance. It has the date (I think it was some time in 2000, I don't have it in front of me) and something about the 60,000th performance. Since this ride is now defunct I figure it must be worth something, right?

Compared to regular pins, buttons don't have much value . I don't collect buttons myself, but I would suggest looking on Ebay just to see if there any similar ones up for auction. Sorry I don't know more in the button arena.......hopefully someone else will.

Most pins and buttons are worth less than $1.00, based on actual closts of manufacture.

HOWEVER, based on both rarity and desireability they can go for prices of several hundred dollars. For example, we have sometimes paid close to $200 to purchase a pin which sold for about $2.00 twenty years ago, but we needed it to complete a collection and it was not readily available.

Lynnie is correct in suggesting going out to an auction site and looking at closed auctions to see if the particular button has been selling, and, if so, for about how much.
