Does this make sense to do?

Okay, I'm currently booked at the Dolphin for $199 the first night and $125 three additional nights. Then I used the 40% discount for Poly which is $198 a night. The total amount of the resorts, plus the park hoppers and airfare comes to $2454. My tax return is paying for this trip and I thought it would be larger since I got almost a $20,00/year salary raise towards the end of the year. But since it was near the end and not the whole year my tax return will be much larger NEXT year.

My tax return is about $2500, so that means I need to save up all of the money for the food and spending money. Which I thought would be a breeze but with the holidays, baby showers, teeth problems I'm left with 4 months to save and I'm not sure I'll be able to make it.

BUT, someone made a post earlier on here about talking to a CM and we might have the wrong dates for free dining. If they move it to a week earlier I can take advantage of it.

If my dates fall in the free dining range (I already paid for the airfare so I can't change the dates) I would change to the WL for 5 nights, and have free dining for those nights. Then I would keep three nights of my reservation at the Dolphin and pay $125 a night. With the resorts, tickets, airfare and 5 nights of dining the total is $2420.

Would it make sense to do the change from the Poly to the WL? I had my heart set on the Poly but I'm trying to save money so I can go back in October for 22nd birthday.
