Any suggestions to our itinerary... We are a family of 5 with 2 teens and one 8 year old. Does this look too busy? We have never been there as a family.

Sunday 6/6 arrive at POR then Chef Mickey for dinner

Monday- early entry to AK then back to hotel for swim break and head to MK for ticketed EMH.

Tuesday- early entry to MGM - break in afternoon and then back to MGM in evening for Fantasmic because they have a 10:30 show.

Wed- early entry to Epcot- break in afternoon and then back for illuminations

Thursday- early entry to MK, lunch at Libertry tree tavern and stay till we drop..

Friday- breakfast at Boatwrights, check out of POR and then head back to Indiana

We are early morning people but would like to try to avoid major heat and crowds by doing early morning and evenings. We have never been there in June. Is this too much? Will we be too tired? Just not sure about heat and crowds.

Actually it sounds like a typical family Disney vacation!! You will have a great time and you will pace yourselves if you feel you are wiping yourselves out. With your afternoon breaks, you should all be just fine. Have a blast.

By "ticketed EMH" do you mean E-ride Night? That can go as late as 1 am, add another 45 minutes to get back to your resort. Will you be able to get up in order to be at MGM by 8AM for EMH the following morning?

And then you plan to be at MGM that night until about 11pm. You will not get back to POR until midnight. And you have EE at EPCOT planned for the following morning.

As I see it, you have a lot of late nights followed by early mornings. While I agree that this is the best way to beat the heat, I think that you're going to be exhausted by the schedule. It's going to be especially hard on the 8yo.

You may want to consider either sleeping in a few mornings or else cutting back on some of the late nights.

My words exactly! Great advice!

I too am a little concerned about a late Fantasmic followed by an EMH:confused:
