I really really really hate it when I see people on here say that they only shop at Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, etc. I mean don't get me wrong, I like those stores alot too, but I also like shopping at Target, and other places like that too. Does anyone else agree with me here or am i just making a big deal about this?

Maybe they just love those stores and don't feel a need to go to anywhere else. I also like shopping at target, goody's, kohls, etc. also.

But i don't know, it doesn't bother me. They can shop where ever the want.

That bothers me too. Its really nothing against the people its just a "pet peeve" I guess. I mean the clothes are usually SO expensive and often at like Hollister and A&F they are cut too small. Thats JMO, people are going to shop where they want to shop.

No, you aren't the only one. I totally agree. I shop at Aeropostale, Kohls, Walmart, and Target. Hell I even shop at Goodwill and Value Thrift. I don't see what the big deal with Hollister, AE, and Abercrombie are. I went into Hollister for the first time last week and it will probably be my last. The clothes at those places run small, are WAY too expensive, and are on EVERYONE! I'm sorry if this is offensive but I could go on and on about this. I don't shop there, IDC what people think of me for not shopping there, and I'm going to leave now before I say anything that may cause trouble.

I think it's someone's choice to choose what they wear. I try not to judge people on it.

Okay well I was simply just stating my opinion, I didn't mean to offend anyone or try to start a controversy, so sorry.

i totally agree with you ^

yes. i admit. i shop at those places. but the ONLY thing i get r on sale. aothing more than 20$ will i ever spend on clothes. yes. i do shop at the thrift store, you can find some great things there!

Thank you, at least some people understand where I'm coming from (:

Maybe they have trouble finding clothes that they like at other stores.

^^^ That and I have trouble finding clothes that fit me right, before I went to Hollister, A&F, AE etc. alot of my clothes were way to big for me. :confused3 There I can find stuff that fits me perfectly.

Riiiiiight on the spot. I've been to Mandees, H&M, Target, and such for clothes but even the small sizes are too big.
It's really easy to find clothes at A&F, HCo., etc. stores because there will definitely be a size there that fits perfectly.
This and the only places I can find jeans that fit are Delia's and A&F 00. I've tried other places for jeans and their smallest size is still too big like Guess and Lucky Brand.

A&F and Hollister clothes aren't that good. Like, they rip easily.

I do shop at AE, but only on the sale rack. And only sometimes. And only really shirts/tanks/camis/hoodies.

I usually shop at JC Penny, or Kohl's.

I don't see what the big deal is with A&F and Hollister, IMO.

I shop at Abercrombie, AE, and Hollister. My preference is in that order. They are small and are cute, but they are bad quality. AE is the best quality, but I prefer Abercrombie because I like the style more. I like Hollister because of the California style but I hate it because of the bad quality. Abercrombie and Hollister are both cute but bad quality and overpriced for what they are. I love all three stores, though.

I also shop at Macy's for some brand name stuff, Kohl's once in a while, Marshall's for some brand name stuff, Delia's, and Victoria's Secret Pink.

I need really small sizes so Abercrombie, Hollister, and Delia's are good. AE must vanity size, along with Abercrombie and Fitch (adult's) because the 00 is too big on me. :confused3

I don't like Abercrombie's style, and the store smells too much. Ugh. I can only take so much cologne!

Hollister is really cute, but I only buy the hoodies and tote bags. I can get similar designed shirts for muuuchhh cheaper anywhere else.

I love AE, but again I only buy the occasional shirt there. I mostly get shirts and hoodies from there for birthday/Xmas gifts.

I love Kohls, that's one of my favorite stores to shop at. And it's cheaper and they have awesome sales. Same with Penney's, Macy's, ect.

If the person is abnormally small, no. A&F and all their counterparts run smaller than other clothing companies. I can understand that.

If the person can fit into other stores, but turns their nose up at other brands, yes. Geeze, does that stick up your rear end turn your nose up? I'm guessing yes.
(I get it's a preferance thing, but to shun other companies because they're cheaper is downright rude)

Actually I'd have to agree with you on that, I'm a slender girl, and aeropostale/hollister jeans just seem to fit me right. So good point.

I pretty much only shop at those stores. I don't have a good reason, I just like their clothes better than other places.

I know how that feels.
I love the clothes.
I hate the prices.
And they make it seem like they have to have those stores clothes or else they'll die.

It's called variety.

I buy a lot of my clothes at American Eagle, Hollister, and Abercrombie because I WANT TO. Not because a lot of people wear it. I like the clothes so I will buy them.

It bothers me that people think we only shop there because everyone does. And this is kinda OT but some people are like "EWW preppy stores, they only play pop music." Okay well first those stores aren't even "preppy". If you want preppy go to Polo, Lilly, Brooks Brothers, Lacoste, LL Bean, Ralph Lauren. etc. Second they do play pop music, but they also play rock, techno, hip-hop, etc.

Rant over. [:
