Does the whole family need Platinum Passes?

Planning to get Platinum Passes for the extra discounts and perks? I am wondering if I need to get them for myself, DH and my 3 DDs. Or would I be ok with just getting one for me and 4 park passes for the rest?

YOu would be fine for parking/discounts -but not for preferred seating. We were asked more than 1x how many preferred passes we had in our party (all were preferred) when we went for the seating.

We have never been asked to show the kids passes for SW perfered seating, but I'm not sure they offer a 4 park pass that isn't the platinum??

We see people get asked all the time to show passes for ever member of their party. We have also seen people without the pass asked to leave the preferred seating area.

They do sell a kids platinum pass.
