Does the price of Minnie's breakfast go up in the summer?

I got a quote from Costco that for a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) that it would be $100 for a voucher for Minnie's breakfast. I was looking at the price on allears.net and it didn't seem like the voucher would save us money, but then I saw on DIS that the price is different than allears.net. We used the vouchers two years ago and if the DIS price is going to be the one for summer, then it seems like the vouchers will be worth it to us if they include tax and tip.

The character meals go up in price during the summer, Christmas, and spring break. I don't think the vouchers are a good deal for Minnie's, even during the high season. Your value would be about $78. ($24x2 + 12*2 + 8% tax.) The tip is left to you, but a $20 tip would be excessive at Minnie's as they do not bring you anything. They only clear after you leave.

Pricing does go up. In fact it went up last Friday and the higher price continues through August 20.

I just updated the pricing on the DIS (the prices [in brackets] are the summer/peak pricing):

Character Dining

Current pricing for Minnie & Friends is $27.99 for adults and $15.99 for children.

With the summer pricing our total will be $87.96 before tax and tip. Tax and tip are included when you purchase the vouchers right?

If you belong to AAA, you can get a 10% discount for any character breakfast also, so that could save you even more. I recently checked in to this and was pleasantly surprised to see if applied to all the character dining experiences, in or out of park!! You also wouldn't need to pre-purchase, just show your card when you go to get the discount!

Hmm. I thought the AAA discounts were discontinued. Is this recent information?

Do they do vouchers for AG princess lunch? And is it worth it for me to get it with two adults and 1 three year old?

So, the pricing on disneyland.com, specifically, the Disney Dining pop up (http://bookdlr.reservations.disney.go.com/ibcdlr/en_US/modules/render/PopUp/popupPageProcessor?strPageName=2012_Guest_STD_DiningOption_PopUp) that talks about dining plans, is incorrect? We will be going in October, and I had priced out our Character Meals (Ariel's Grotto for lunch, Goofy's for dinner, and Minnie's breakfast). For Ariel and Goofy, for 2 adults, and 2 kids between 3-9 would be $122, and Minnie's would be $100. According to the pricing on the link you provided above, it would be $108 for Ariel, $92 for Goofy, and $72 for Minnie. Does disneyland.com change their pricing online to reflect peak pricing a month before that pricing goes into effect, or am I reading the pricing from the link above incorrectly?

Thanks.

Currently, AAA says "Show Your Card & Save® offers are available to all AAA/CAA members and are not part of AAA Vacations®. Valid only at selected dining locations in the Resort during applicable times. Discount excludes taxes, gratuity, and alcoholic beverages. Disney Priority Seating is not required, but suggested, especially for Character meals, as hours vary. Restaurant locations subject to closure/change. Offer subject to change without notice. Restrictions apply."

But last time we were there (in Feb) several people tried while we were waiting, and the cashier said it wasn't available.

Oh man, what a bummer!!! What place were you at?? I hope it didn't change, but sounds like it may have. Some of the info I found regarding this may be outdated........I hope not, though. ;)
