Does the person who created the ADR need to be present at restaurant?

I have an upcoming family vacation in August with 7 people (Myself, GF, Brother, SIL, 2 nephews and my father). We are on the DDP and when the ROL packages dropped for our dates I jumped on Tusker House reservations for all 7 of us. Now thinking about it, we have done TH at least twice and I would like to try Tiffins with just my GF and I, with using 2 dining credits for one of us and paying OOP for the other. I can't take myself off the TH reservation since I am the person who ordered the ADR, and there are no spots opened for the day we are going to to make an ADR for 5.

My question is: Can I go to Tiffins with GF while the rest of family goes to TH on my reservation, or do I need to be present since I made ADR? I know that they will take less people than on the ADR, my concern is if the person that made the ADR needs to be one of those people. I don't think it'll be an issue, I just don't want to ruin the rest of the family's dinner if they can't get in.

No you don't need to be present at Tusker House. But you will not be able to make ADR's for Tiffins on line for the same time frame. It will see you already have an ADR and ask you to cancel it.
Call the Dining Line. They should be able to help you

Nope, I made several reservations for a friend on my MDE last spring and they just had to give my name for check in.

If you need to schedule another ADR during that time for yourself and GF, you can make it under a separate MDE.

Thanks, I was able to get 6:05 for the family at TH, and 5:00 for tiffins with me on both which surprised me. The latest ROL tiffins on our dates are 5 since I guess the meal will take longer than TH I could see us all being done around the same time.

I think ADRS have to be an hour apart when booked online. So that worked out nicely for you!
