Does the Passholder Have to Pay the Bill for the Dining Discount?

Does anyone have any recent experience with this? The last time I used a dining discount was a couple years ago at Trails End for lunch and I believe at least then the passholder did not have to be the one paying & the discount was applied to the whole bill (excluding alcohol).

Yes. If your whole family are passholders, make sure to pass that along. Treated my sister to 'Ohana and the waiter only gave the discount to me, despite us both being passholders. Sadly, I didn't realize that until numbers didn't add up when I was already back in the resort :(

That's not right anyhow because the discount is supposed to be good for up to 4 people. Sorry that happened, I'd be bummed too.

OP like others have said yes, the passholder has to pay.

My son has the AP (I bought it for him) and I just have a PH and have had no problem getting the discount on the bill thusfar. They just glanced at the pass and applied it, didn't verify anything else.
