Does the MB have to be linked to something to use it?

If I have a set of MBs, do they have to be linked to an account (MDE I guess) in order for me to get 3 FPs in the morning when I get to the park or can I use them without linking them to anything. I have some new ones that were given to me. They were never used. Never linked. All were bought from DS.com and then given to me as a gift.

They're not going to do you any good at all if they don't have tickets linked to them.

Yes, in order to use a MB it has to be linked to your MDE account, which also has valid tickets linked.. Otherwise it's just a plastic bracelet.

If they are linked to an MDE account you should be able to schedule same day fastpasses once you get to the parks (even without ticket media attached).

No advance booking without tickets attached though.

Not true. Tickets are not required on the day of unless they changed it in the last few weeks.

Okay - makes sense. Tickets not required on that particular band to get FPs day of, but a separate MDE would make sense for them so they can keep track.

We have old bands on my MDE account that have no valid tickets attached to them. They got us 3 same day FP+ back in August. Our park tickets were on different MBs linked to my daughter's MDE account.
