Does the Magic Kingdom ever have 2 showings of Wishes in a night?

Hello,

I have been trying to research this by articles I have found and have been trying to book an ideal first trip but things seem to be moving around constantly or NOT what the "experts" project. I read on two planning sites that the Wishes fireworks will be at 9 during on the Saturday (12/19) that I will be at the parks and planned around that. Then I thought I would see if it were possible to get a reservation for the Wishes Dessert Party which should start at 8 if the fireworks start at 9 but instead it started at 7 which would lead me to believe there is a fireworks show at 8, rather than 9 and that seems really early for a Saturday night so I am wondering if they will have 2 sets of fireworks...one at 8 and one at 10?

Just wondering if anyone knows historically whether this is possible. It also does not seem like they are having a dessert party any later than 7 which has made me even more confused.

Thanks for anyone out there who might have some knowledge of this.

Only the Electrical Parade is twice IIRC

Wishes can vary it's published start time right up to a week before. The FP or Dessert Party will always line up to that nights showing.

I think traditionally the dessert party is 1 hour before wishes, but since wishes times can vary, the dessert party ADR time may not be entirely accurate.

Thanks all for your replies....does this then mean that they could switch the time of the dessert party once they finalize the Wishes time? Just trying to work around ADRs and plan...

There are only two nights a year that MK hosts two fireworks shows: 12/30 and 12/31. They show Holiday Wishes at 7:30 then the NYE "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks at 11:50pm. Other than that, the fireworks are shown once per night.

Celebrate the Magic is done twice, once right before Wishes and then about a half hour after Wishes (in between Wishes and the 2nd Electrical parade)

Once upon a time, there were two fireworks shows a night in the summer. But that was before the show was called "Wishes". And probably before their were condos/apartments within shouting distance of where the fireworks are shot off.

I live very close to MK. I definitely hear the noise from the fireworks, but it's really like white noise. You get so used to hearing it you don't really notice it other than to be aware of what time it is without looking at a clock.

Would this be true if there was a show at midnight (which is when the second show used to be)?

Hmmm, so my Dessert Party at 7pm on 11/5 could shift if they move Wishes past 8pm?!

Okay, so anyone with experience with the first week of Nov? Does MK typically close at 8pm on a non party night.
Maybe I should look at 2014 hours.

I looked at 2 sites that shows 2015 hours based on 2014 hours and "historical data" and so far it has not been very helpful...none seem to reflect reality of what happened last year based on feedback from other board members who where there last year. Just saying....

Thanks, well I'll keep my fingers crossed it stays at 7pm, I have early to bed children and this timing for Wishes was perfect. 10pm has always been way to late.
