Does the DVC discount work with Photopass pre-order?

The code from DVC and the pre-order offer the same discount. Or are you asking if you can use them together? That I don't know - Disney in general does not normally let you stack multiple discounts, but I don't know about Photopass.

The advantage to the DVC code is that you don't have to pre-pay. With the pre-order link, you actually have to pay in advance (also refundable but still better to not pay in advance if you don't have to).

Yes, I used the pre-order link ($99.95) and then put in my DVC discount for an extra $50 off. My total was $49.95. I did this late last week. Who knows how long it will last, though...

That's awesome - they'll probably close that loophole soon (by not giving out the codes through MS, I assume)! Good for you though.

It still worked yesterday. Don't know how long it will continue to work, though

Thanks for asking that question! It never occurred to me to try that. I just ordered the CD for 49.95!! I wasn't sure about preordering but for that price it's worth it.

I did it too the other day...but Shhhhhhhh!

Let's keep this little tip on the quiet before disney figures out!

Sweet!
I just pre-ordered it and hopefully it'll work for our may trip.
Thanks everyone!

Thanks cseca. Our next trip isn't until Sept. so I can't get the code for awhile yet. I wonder if it will still be available then.

The "double-dip" is still working - just ordered. I know.....shhhhhhhhh....heh heh heh

We rented points and are going in June, did not know if there would be a way to get the DVC code to get the CD for a cheaper price.

The member you rented from will have to call Member Services and request the code for you.

It still worked as of an hour ago! We are going down early June with 22 family members, so will really make good use of it. :)

Yes, when you call MS they check to make sure you are 45 days out from your trip and if you are they send you an email with your code numbers. It took around 24 hours to receive it. I have no idea how long the special ran last time, maybe someone else will know. :)

I don't want to sound stupid, but could someone explain this to me. I assume this is purchasing the package where they actually take the pictures as well as the CD. Is that right?

I have 2 sons getting married (May and June) and I was thinking about purchasing this for them (honeymoons are on us at WDW). I wanted to be able to explain what it is.

I want to order one- I just tried to call MS, but they are closed. I'll call them first thing in the AM, though!!

This is the deal where you get your pictures taken by the Disney photopass photographers who scan your photopass card each time they take your pic. You then put that card # into your on-line photopass account. You can edit your pics there and order the cd. All the pics come to you on that cd - including your edits - with a release to print them in whatever size and however many copies you want to. If your son's will be going to WDW within 30 days of each other, you could even put them on 1 photopass account and only have to order 1 photopass cd.

Hope that helps.
