Mal, I find if I reduce the pixels then my pictures load much faster and look just fine. you don't need top quality to post pictures on the internet.

I tired to upload 2 last night and they took over 5 minutes each and never uploaded....I let them run and after what I thought was an eternity I only got a blank page when I checked my photos none.

Mal, can you reduce the pixels in your photo software? If you can...reduce them, then save them, then upload them. Also...are you on Dial up?

Reducing them and compressing helps a lot. I do it to all of mine before I upload.
You might want to sign up for Webshots or Imagestation. They're free and they don't care how big the pics are. Then you could link to them in your posts.

I'm sorry I am late in replying, Snowwark sent me a pm and I am just now getting over here. All the advice being offered is correct..the problem you are having is your pixel size is so large its taking much longer to load. Try dropping it down, it will help! Also you will not use so much of your alloted space on the photo gallary, which means you can store more pics!
