We are considering a stay at OKW but are on the DDP and the menu at Goods is very limited. Can we get to SSR and PO on the boat? Is it one boat that goes from PO to OKW to SSR then DTD????:confused3 TIA

Last time I rode (12/05) the ferry from OKW to DTD did stop @ SSR; a seperate ferry for PO.

In a word -- NO.

POR one boat; SSR, OKW, another boat.

We stayed at OKW last month and decided to have lunch at PORiverside. It took about an hour and ten minutes to take the OKW boat downtown, board the PO boat downtown, and get to POR.

This wasn't a problem for us, but if you are short on time it may be a hassle.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think they used to have the boats run between OKW and Port Orleans/Dixie Landings from what I remember....I wish they still did-always thought that was kind of cool

No, they did not have scheduled boats between the two resorts. However, years ago, the OKW/DtD boat would stop at PO, if requested. Now that the boats are on a tighter schedule, I don't think it is possible to honor that request. However, maybe if someone is there now, they could ask a boat operator if it is still possible. They also used to stop at the DI (now SSR dock) on request. Of course, now SSR is part of the regular route. The OKW boat also used to be operated by OKW recreation, now it is operated by the same division that operates the PO ferries and is partly subsidized by DtD.

Yeah, we did ask when we were there-not specifically if they would drop us at PO, but we asked if the SSR and OKW (we stayed at both that trip) even WENT to PO and were told absolutely not-that you could only get to PO from downtown.
