Does the blue bayou fantasmic package booking exsist..

Okay.. I might be crazy. Wait we already know this.

Does the specific fantasmic package booked for Blue bayou with the drop down menu on the fantasmic dinning package.. exist? HAHA. So many of us waiting and watching it for October. If you have one for September would you mind showing what it looks like in your plans and confirm you booked it through the drop down menu?

I was able to practice book all the way up until September 26th. The Blue Bayou Fantasmic package is accessed via the dropdown menu under the Fantasmic dining package booking.

The Blue Bayou Fantasmic package hasn't released for October yet, though the schedule shows Fantasmic on the calendar. Additionally, Hungry Bear and River Belle Terrace Premium dining have released consistently for weekend dates. I'm not sure why they haven't dropped yet, as we're getting pretty late in the game but they'll eventually drop.

Not sure if you saw - another poster emailed Disney and a CM stated that you can upgrade at the time of your dining reservation. The poster specifically mentioned October dates.

I don't know if I completely trust that information from the CM and would still keep looking for reservations (this goes to everyone), but it's worth noting and could be a plausible explanation for the packages not having released yet.

Multiple people have been trying to book for the entire month of October, no one has reported getting Blue Bayou Fantasmic reservations. I chatted for the first weekend of October and was told they were not released. I had made a regular Blue Bayou reservation and I also captured River Belle premium just in case.

I am the poster referenced above who also emailed about having my regular reservation upgraded to fantasmic. It took over a month for the response to upgrade at podium. I have had 2 different paid reservation drops for October 1st and 2nd running and neither have ever alerted.

I have not heard of anyone getting November Blue Bayou Fantasmic up to this point as well.

I do have a hungry bear packages as well as a lunch reservation at riverbelle booked as back up. Also have a regular blue bayou for a different day so we can still eat there. I just really like the BB package.

I was finally about to get a reservation for next week after trying for a month to get one so maybe as you get closer to your date something will open up!!

I tried solid for the past 5 days to grab one for 11/4-11/7 and NONE were available despite being on at exactly when they opened up. Was able to book HB F! but NOTHING was available for BB F! any of the days.

So what is the process if a dining alert comes through for the Fantasmic lunch at BB? Does Disney allow you to hold two dining reservations for the about same time on the same day? Or would the Riverbelle reservation need to be cancelled prior to making one for BB? I would be afraid I might lose them both in the transition.

It won’t let you make another reservation it will tell you you have conflicting plans.

There is a prompt when you try to book two reservations for the same time frame that allows you to chose which one to keep.

In the case of the hungry bear one if it was at a different time then the blue bayou one the system would allow me to keep both.

If I score the blue bayou one for lunch like I want it will prompt me to choose between it and my Riverbelle lunch- for which I would choose the blue bayou. I will then manually cancel my hungry bear.

Thank you so much for this information. I have a trip planned in early November with only one day that Fantasmic will probably be showing. Assuming Fantasmic BB is still late dropping, I think I will get a Riverbelle at 60 days for backup.

I would say no for Blue Bayou. Is it possible? Absolutely, but I would need to hear it from multiple other CMs before I would trust the information fully.

We know for sure (I think, at least I've read here) that you can do a River Belle Terrace regular lunch/dinner and request the Fantasmic package at check-in. That may be a good option if you want more flexibility.

I got a Mouse**** alert today for October 22 for BB Fantasmic for two times (odd times, but I digress). It was late and I didn’t hear the text so was gone before I actually clicked on it.

I was one of those who was able to book before 6am. I kept watching for several weeks incase they opened the BB fantasmic packages for the days I was looking for along with the daily ADR drop @6am Pacific (I work nights Pacific time zone so I am always checking early). So I do not believe they have ever dropped, along with the chat telling me they have not dropped that first weekend they jut told me to keep checking for it to drop. I was able to book Trader Sam's, LL, Oga's etc, as well as the River Belle Premium. We would rather have Blue Bayou fantasmic. I actually dropped the normal Blue Bayou reservation we had for October 1st, which is our arrival day. We have kept the River Belle Premium as this was a sure thing and my daughter is running a reservation finder for October 2nd for regular Blue Bayou hoping for the upgrade with the email saying we can upgrade at podium. I truly miss the Fantasmic dessert party from years ago with the assigned chairs and view.
