Does staying off site affect getting into a virtual queue or lightning lane?

You can get into the VQ at 7am whether you are onsite or off. You can't buy an ILL until park open if they are still available (but a lot of times they are).

Last trip offsite 3 weeks ago.
No issues at all getting VQ.
Able to get ILL for TRON after park opening.

We didn’t arrive at Epcot until 11:30am yesterday and were able to buy ILL for Cosmic Rewind for 5:35pm to go along with the VQ I got for us that morning but that was a weekday. When we went to Epcot this last Saturday we couldn’t get 7am VQ or an ILL for it due to it being rammed full of locals but were easily able get 1pm VQ for Guardians that day instead.
