Does Southwest Add More Flights?

I'm sure this has been discussed before...but does anyone know if Southwest adds flights? I've looked and was surprised that they had their September dates out but their return flight times are not great. When I looked in the middle of May they had several more return dates....so I was just wondering if they might add more the closer the time got. TIA!

It's possible. We were booked on a very early flight to Orlando for our upcoming trip. We're traveling with extended family and nobody was too excited at having to be at the airport for a 6:45 a.m. flight. About a week after we booked I was looking for price drops and they had added a 9:45 a.m. nonstop and a few more in the afternoon. I can't say with any certainty whether you will see a flight added, but it can happen.

Thx all. It just seems strange how few flights they have - I thought maybe because it was so far away that maybe they just released a few flight options. May has almost twice as many - even at a low fly time (basing that off their prices which were pretty low).
