Does price of AP's go up in August?

Hi all, I heard somewhere that the price of Annual Passes went up last year in August, and would be likely to increase in August this year if they were in fact, to go up in price. Does anyone know if this is when Disney typically raises the price?

Don't know. All we can do is watch the board for rumors. Unfortunately last year the rumors were barely 24 hours before it happened. All of our family members got online and bought their tickets that Saturday night before the Sunday increase. I even renewed my AP in August and it didn't expire until October. All in all we saved $100.

Disney does not have any set time when they raise ticket prices, it has varied for the last few years, and one year there were two price increases.

How much do they generally go up per pass?

Mine expires in October.....but this has me wondering what to do b/c we are probably only going to do 3 days at WDW next year b/c of our DCL cruise. We would just wait until the following summer 2010 to buy new passes.
