Does Port Orleans Riverside have it's own bus to Magic Kingdom, etc..?

Yes. Sometimes they share with French Quarter, sometimes they don't. So make sure you're getting on a bus that does in fact go to Riverside.

It depends on the time of day and how full the resorts are. Before RD and at park closing they don't usually share with POFQ. Late morning thru early evening, they may share.

Are the buses for Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter reliable? Are the wait times usually less than at a value resort?

Buses are not exclusively assigned to only one route or resort. They are all dispatched from a central system at Disney Transportation. Disney tries to have buses for each park arrive at roughly 20 min intervals for all resorts. No single resort has better or worse reliability than others. Buses will usually arrive more frequently during periods of peak demand (pre park opening/park close) and usually a little less frequently during the mid day hours.

We stay at POFQ every trip. Several years ago we shared with POR. For PU the bus stopped at POFQ first The bus was usually crowded before the first POR stop. The last few times we have only shared a bus once. A thunderstorm hit while we were in DTD and the boats were shut down.

We go in the summer when the parks are busy.

To answer your question about the buses, we have always found them very reliable and as others have said, park opening and closing buses don't share with POR and POFQ. During the day, they might.
