Does Orlando Bloom die in Lord of the Rings?

As you all have seen probably I'm loving Orlando Bloom! So I mentioned tonight that I wanted to rent all of The Lord of the Rings to watch Orlando!

Well my 14 year old looks and me and says "You know he dies in the second one right?"

Does he?? Or is he messing with me??

Are these movies good?

Yes it's a Trilogy. I am hoping that Peter Jackson will one day be able to direct The Hobbit, which is the prelude to The LOTR. That would be so cool!

There are 3 Lord of the Rings movies as J.R.R.Tolkien's Lord of the Rings story is in 3 parts. Legolas ( played by Orlando Bloom in the movies ) does not die in the movies or the books.

Orly is in all three...and I think there could be more(but doubt they will be made into movies). But there is currently 3 LOTR's . Orly's character does not die...I believe he goes on. As an extra special treat you can have your son sit with you through one of Orly's first movies...Black Hawk Down, Calcium Kid(on Comedy Central 7/7 at 10 am), Troy, better yet Kingdom of Heaven or even Elizabeth town. Also get him Haven tickets(Sept. Release) as an extra!!!

Ummmm....Orlando Bloom does not die in LOTR and neither does Legolas!

Beat your 14 year old with an Orlando Bloom stick, talk Orlando Bloom to him 24/7, AND make him say Orlando Bloom at LEAST 10 times daily with a smile on his face!! That'll teach him to mess with you!

BTW...the movies are great. I did not know it was Orlando until I saw Troy and my DH said...Yea that's the guy from LOTR...needless to say since then I have been hooked(line and sinker!) over Orlando. Pretty sad for a 40something yo Housewife!
