Hi all! I was looking on the Disney site to confirm that I remembered the Special Diets email address correctly, and found that the SD write-up has changed since I last read it.
It says "Advance arrangements are not necessary for guests with lifestyle dietary requests." Then below, states that those with Multiple Allergies or other serious conditions like PKU should email SD at least 2 weeks prior to arrival.
My DH and 2/3 of our sons have Celiac, so I guess that puts us in the middle! But it doesn't say one way or the other about emailing SD with ADR#s if there is a single/straight-forward true medical intolerance.
In the Dis-ers opinion, should I still email SD, and is it still appropriate to anticipate they'd send out the fabulous Gluten Free lists they used to send? Has anyone else with a single allergy emailed SD recently and gotten the lists for their allergen? (because I just love the lists! But I understand if/why they would cease the practice, even though I'd be sad!)
Thanks for the input/experience!
