Does housekeeping still take trash out of rooms every day?

As mentioned on another thread, we are going with a flock of people , eating most meals in the room and planning to use paper products a lot . If we need to empty trash every, I'll add trash bags to shopping list. In my memory, the disney bags are rather thin. I'd rather not be taking a bag down the hall , around the bend and break before we get to the trash room.

We did not have trash taken each day. In fact, they called us to schedule when they would come to get it. we stayed 7 nights and they picked it up twice.
during checkin, we did decline housekeeping, so not sure if that factored in or not.(we were at the riviera)

Been here 9 days split stay SSR and AKV Jambo. Trash emptied every day at both resorts.

They did come for us daily in January. I’d still bring a few bags of larger size. The Disney ones don’t hold a lot

They did come almost daily on our last trips. Had a few missed days, but that was rare. I try and find the trash/recycling room just in case, especially if I have a lot of packaging, etc. I always bring a lot of extra bags, like Walmart bags, but good to have the larger bags too, especially for a big group.

Stayed in OKW in the fall for 6 nights. They emptied trash once or twice. We were drinking lots of bottled water. My DGD and I emptied the recycling bin every day after they didn’t come the first day. We were in a grand villa, luckily at OKW the trash and recycling bin are not to far from the room.

Thank you for the fast replies. I think I'll just throw a couple of big bags in the suitcase, in case they skipped and there is no way we can wait a day.

SSR 7 nights in February and trash picked up every day.

When did they stop? When we were there in November, they did. We know because we very rarely left our room (DH got last minute anxiety), so we were there when they came in every day.

No idea, but they did it once in 7 nights for us last week. We had actually already done it that day, so they took a bag with one thing in it. Optics. They also did not do a mid week cleaning, and it wasn’t something we declined. We were very unimpressed with housekeeping at HH. We’ve been 2xs now over the last 2 years and housekeeping has been like a crappy hotel both times. Totally different than other Disney hotels. We like the resort in general but it has a lot of issues compared to the other resorts.

We were at AK Jambo last week and trash was taken every day but one, and that was because we asked to not be disturbed as DH was in a work call almost day day. It was nice not to take it out ourselves as our group was cooking at least one big meal a day in our 2bed villa.
