Does having a DAS help with parades?

We have been to Disney several times and got the DAS for my daughter (Down syndrome) the last 2 trips. It is an enormous help to us. We have never seen any of the Disney parades though because I just never thought that my daughter would be able to wait long enough for them. On our last trip, we used a Fast Pass to get priority seating for the Electrical Parade and then 5 minutes before the parade was scheduled to start, they cancelled it due to thunder/lightning. That was a nightmare trying to exit the park with thousands of people in a thunderstorm!

Anyway, are there any DAS accommodations for the parades or do we need to use Fast Passes if we aren't able to camp out in a spot for a long period of time?

no but I find the second parade to be a lot less crowded the 3 pm parade I find where it starts ( really about 5 minute walk from where it starts sorry I can not think of where like in for of county bears) is less crowded it can be a good break have a snack before had

There are no DAS accommodations, but FP is an option. You can also find a spot further away from Main Street and the Hub to view the parades. The areas in Frontier land, especially near Pecos Bill's are less crowded, and you can usually find a spot closer to parade time, instead of staking out a spot an hour or more in advance.

And yes, the second MSEP (if it's offered), is almost always less crowded.
