Does GF still have the Gingerbread house at Christmas?

Yes it's still there. They should start building it pretty soon. We'll be there to sample a piece 2nd week of December.:thumbsup2

snoopymom, you will love it at Christmas time. The smell of the gingerbread just radiates through the lobby and the decorations are just so wonderful. We are sad as this will be our first time not going during Christmas time but we will be there in April. That will be our first spring trip. We are excited. Hope you and your family have a magical time.:wizard:

Thanks so much! Going with extended family, 6 adults 5 kids, staying off site, but going to GF for the Cinderella dinner, and I'm so excited that there will be something to do afterwards.

We were in WDW Dec 06 and visited the GF gingerbread house. It's amazing. We will be back again in Dec to enjoy Christmas in The World. If you have time you might want to go around see the other hotels that have gingerbread and/or sugar pieces. They are amazing!

:santa: so excited, first time at Christmas!

Dec 06, was my first Christmas at DisneyWorld, you will be amazed how beatiful it is. I am so exicited for you. I am going again this Christmas. My parents ask me what I wanted for Christmas, of course I said a trip to Disney World, this was yesterday. Now I can do the happy dance. Minniemousecat

I would like to see the Wilderness Lodge decorations and I remember seeing a chocolate carousel at the Boardwalk on the same show?

We usually go in the Summer, get wiped out from the heat and end up spending a day or two hanging out at the pool, so maybe we'll have more time to see things this time. Maybe we'll take a day and just tour the resorts.

We're also talking about going to Celebration one evening. They have decorations, snow and iceskating I think.

Last year we visited gingerbread and sugar creations at the Boardwalk, The Beach Club, The Yacht Club, and The Grand Floridian. The Poly usually has a creation, but last year, for whatever reason, they did not. The AK also does something, usually by or in their restaurant. We didn't make it to the AK last year. We are hoping to this year. The WL's tree and decorations are spectacular to see. That resort is gorgeous anyway, but being all decked out for Christmas just makes it amazing! :santa:
