Does free dining ever go past the date of 18th Nov?

We are booked for the 5th November for 10 nights at POR , was just wondering if the free dining ever goes into December (not booking period actual use of free dining?)

We had planned to go in December in the first place but free dining means we go November - unless it changes !

Not in the uk, usa have free dining dates in dec but not for us

I would like the usa way of doing it as they can check in on the last day of free dining and still get it for the duration of the holiday

I would want that so my girls can have thier birthday in disney which is the end of nov

I'm pretty sure that we had free dinning when we went in Dec 2009, but they didn't offer it last year and doesn't look like it's going to be offered this year either.

ETA: BTW we booked with Disney UK!

We had free dining early December 2009 booked through US disney.

We checked in the Monday 30th Nov I think for 14 nights.

Was free QSDP at all star movies - we paid to upgrade to DDP.

yes we had it in 2008 and it wasnt released till the october.Why dont you book through the US site. In order to get the free DDP for your duration you only need to buy a one day base ticket.I know its more to outlay but you can then buy 14 day uk ticket off an independent site. Just a thought.Never done this but know people on here that have.

Not that I know of. You can book accomodation and one day pass to get the free dining for the duration. I am sure there is someone on here who will know. Have you tried a dummy run for this year though not looked to see if free DDP is on this year. You will pay in dollors rather than pounds.

Actually the US free dining offer requires a 2 day ticket for each person in the room who is 3 years or older. If you're paying for the dining plan you only need to purchase a 1 day ticket (exceptions are AP holders and DVC members who can do a ticketless package for paid dining, but will still have to purchase 2 day tickets for free dining.)

The current free dining dates in November and December, 2011 are Nov 26 - Dec 1 and Dec 10 - 15. If you check in within these date you will get free dining for the duration of your stay up to 14 nights.

free dining in december is very rare....it's only if disney is hard up for occupancy..

the more 'normal' free dining in the US is in september...and that usually only is offered in april of the same year...

the us free dining plans don't typically come up a year in advance the way the British free dining plans do..

if i were you, i wouldn't bank on anything being available for december 2012...

well it is a possibility - i think they have free dining this year in december...
but it's not something you can plan on happening...they offer it if reservations are weak..

the US free dining plan is available this year in december -
you can book for December 1st and december 10th to 15th
that is, the first day of your free dining can begin in those time periods.

but that's for 2011.

the 2012 US free dining only goes through March as of now.

There's no way of knowing what Disney will do next year. Whether they will offer FD depends on the economy and how well rooms are booking up. This year, however, the December dates were first announced on Aug 3.
