Does Epcot & resort monorail run after MK closes?

We have an ADR for Chef Mickey's at 5:30 on 9/15, but MK is closing at 6pm for an event. We would like to hop on the monorail to get to Epcot after dinner. It may be after 7 if there is a long wait at CM, so we want to be sure we can still use the resort monorail to get to Epcot. Will this work?

I think it is unclear at this time what will happen under the new monorail operating schedule when MK closes earlier than Epcot. The only thing they're saying is that bus or boat transportation will be available.

Two possibilities:

1. There will be bus service from CR to Epcot.
2. There will be bus service from CR to TTC, where you'll have to transfer to the Epcot monorail.
