Just wondering if there is a singles line at EE and if it makes a difference. I'm the only one in my family who will ride. (DD and DS are too short and DH is too tall)

It makes a world of difference. The singles lines are often shorter than the FP lines (shhh!) Newer rides are being built with singles lines so they can fill in holes. Works for everyone!

Mission: Space had a Single Rider line, but it got changed. Soarin has one, but they don't use it.

Test Track and EE are the only rides I know of that actually use them.

Yep it sure does. We pretty much used the single rider and FP lines during our two week trip this summer. EE ROCKs!

:thanks: I am SO looking forward to riding and don't want to slow down the rest of my family.

My kids got in the single rider line at EE in late Aug. They were gone for a VERY long time. I went to see what was going on & the CM at the single rider line said it was actually longer than the Fast pass line at that time. A few minutes later they shut down the single rider line because of its length!

We went in May and they had the single rider line but when we went in September they did not have a single rider line. The regular line was not that long maybe 20 minutes.

It's not just the height....he's also a "big" guy.

I went to Disney in April and AK was packed. the standby line was almost an hour wait. I really wanted to ride EE, so I had hubby get Emma an ice cream and to walk around and wait for me. I was just about to go in the standby line and I saw the single rider. I went and asked about it and the cm gave me a single rider FP. I walked to the front of the line and walked on the next car. I was off the ride before hubby even finished getting the ice cream!

Unless they've changed the location, the single riders line is off to the right, and doesn't have much themeing. If possible, you really need to walk thru the regular quue. There's just so much put into that area. Also, the single riders line isn't always open. When I went in May, I asked and the CM said it wasn't open "yet". But since the regular line was less than 30 minutes, I took that. Although I'm a wimp who found EE too whippy-whirly to do again, the quue area was great and I'd love to walk thru that again.

I have to second that the singles line isn't always the best option . . . the standby for TT when I rode it was about an hour, and I waited 90 minutes in the singles line. However, the M:S one was open then and I walked right on when it was an hour standby.

YES!! I rode EE twice in about 10 minutes in the single rider line...no wait! This was our first stop after entering the park. I highly recommend it :thumbsup2

We went to AK on October 1st. It was very hot that day, very crowded and the love bugs were still a nuisance.

The EE standby line was 45 minutes and the FP return was for almost 4 hours later (we knew we wouldn't last at AK that long). So we (DH and I) used the single rider line.

It seemed to take forever! We stood in the queue in blistering heat. There didn't seem to be that many people ahead of us, but it took them forever to call each rider to a seat. Once we even saw the train leave with an empty seat and half a dozen people from the single rider line yelled out in dismay.

I would say our wait was about 20-25 minutes. I was placed in the front seat and DH about 2/3 of the way back on the same train. Never again for either one of us! The backwards in the dark portion was too much for us both.

But if I should only go on EE once in my life, I was glad to have the front seat. The view at the highest point of Spaceship Earth, the Swan/Dolphin and Tower of Terror was awesome.
