We are going to Disney from May 27th-June 5th. I see they released E nights. Does this mean they expect Heavy crowds?

You maybe okay for those dates but in July and August when the parks are crowded e-ride nights are not worth it to me. When we where there last August you could have used a fasspass to get on the rides!! Thats how long the lines where. People where complaining to every CM they walked by it was awful and a waste keeping the kids up late.

Good luck!

I'm not the resident expert on this but I don't think that E-Nights are reflective of attendance. I think park hours are the more reliable figures to determine how crowded the parks will be.

Has anyone heard if they will be doing the E-nights in June at all? I know they are piloting the program in May, and I am wondering if they are waiting to see if it is a success or not.

We did an e night in August and although their were still crowds it was so much cooler we thought it was worth it. We plan on going to one in June for the same reason.

Yes they are doing them in June.... You can see all the dates on allearsnet.com

I plan on being at MK on June 4. The park is open from 9 - 9. Allears.net said that may be a night for E ride. So, does that mean when I get to ASMo on the 1st, I ask for a ticket for June 4th E ride night? Then I can stay in the park until midnight???

:jumping1:

I did one in August and thought it was awesome! The lines looked long, but it only took 5 minutes to get on the ride. For example the line for space mountain was all the way over to Buzz, but we got on the ride in less than five minutes. They just weren't using the turnstiles.

We're going to do it twice in June b/c we enjoyed it soo much!

Yep hopelea that's exactly right! On my trip we stayed until 1 am!

Okay, another question..........we are going to Epcot on the 2nd. Do you think it would be worth it to get an E ride ticket for MK and quickly get over there after the park closes on the 2nd to enjoy the E ride at MK????

Thanks

We love E-Ride Nights and feel that there is no better time to tour the MK. The lines are always much shorter and the atmosphere is wonderful. We always go in July and the cooler temps at night coupled with the low crowds is perfect!

We did eride nite in July and loved it! The lines were short. We rode space mountain and buzz 6 times then went and rode splash mountain 5 times and rode the haunted mansion twice. By then it was pushing 1:00 am and we decided to head on out. As we were passing in front of the castle, 6 characters were out including Mickey and Minnie, with no lines!:earseek: For us, all this was well worth it! I hope you find the same experience for you. We are planning to do the eride nites while we are there this June. I'm so glad they finally released the June dates:teeth:

I know I've read that there is a limit of something like 5,000 e-ride tickets so the crowds would be managable..... We have done e-ride nights and loved being in the park at night and able to hop on all the rides that are operating. We have been in June and the waits were no more than 5 minutes!! So glad they have come out with 3 e-ride nights while we're there!!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

If it's being tested until the 22nd does that mean they won't have it the last week of may? We arrive on the 23rd.

hopefully this little bit about e-rides i copied from allears.net will help

What is a Magic Kingdom E-Ride Night?

A Magic Kingdom E-Ride Night is a special after hours (hard-ticketed) event held on selected nights at the Magic Kingdom.

The great thing about a Magic Kingdom E-Ride Night is that ticket sales are very limited (rumors say about 5,000). (To put that in perspective, a slow day at the Magic Kingdom nets about 25,000 visitors.) The park will remain open 3 hours after its stated closing time for you to enjoy the E-Ticket Rides.

For $12.72 with tax per Adult per night, and $10.60 with tax per Child 3-9 per night, you will be able to enjoy the MK's E-Ticket attractions with super short waits.

i am lucky enough on our july vacation to have 5 nights where we can use e-ride tickets. we plan on taking advantage of enjoying MK with substantially smaller crowds.
riding all of the favorite rides that may have too long lines during the day and taking many many pictures without the crowds.

i am also just looking to stroll around MK with my DW and experience the joy that MK is without the usual massive july crowds

The only day in May I seen it offered is May 31 - our last night there. Yea!!!!!!! What a way to go out!
