Does Disneyland have the Pirate Tutorial!?

I just read that at WDW there is a pirate tutorial show...does anyone know if this will be/has been done at DL too!?!?
I would love to see this!!!!

the guide for Feb. 5th had the Bootstrappers in New Orleans Square. This weekend there was no pirate stuff listed at all. Then again theyare sstill announcing that Small World will open soon, lol.

I don't think they've ever had the tutorial.

And Jack Sparrow is absolutely, entirely, and totally GONE from the park, so it would only be one of the lesser pirates (Bootstrappers...guys in the new-ish Disney commercial blowing out the kid's cake)...if those guys are still there!

Nope, never had a tutorial. Would have been nice. But unlike WDW, our Jack did sign autographs and pose for pictures. He's gone now though. Even his flag that used to fly on Tom Sawyer Island is gone.


I just hope they don't rehabe PotC and take him out.

There really aren't any currently, but the caverns on the island have some really fun pirate things.

The Bootstrappers are long gone now. I just saw my friend 2 weeks ago who was a Bootstrapper and said that it's finished.

NOS feels emptier without them and Jack.


(I promise I wasn't one of the drooling women...my enjoyment of him was purely for DS's sake...the bootstrappers, especially the really deep-voiced one, I enjoyed for me, though, b/c he was hilarious and called DS "my recessively-gened lad", because DS has lovely RED hair, while hubby is half Korean with black hair, and my hair is calico, ha ha)

We were there two weeks ago and saw a bunch of pirates playing music and dancing around, they were obviously CM's were these the guys we are talking about?

The Bootstrappers were guys dressed like pirates that played instruments and sang songs & told jokes....they were in Pirate Island but then we all heard they were going away....huh, I wonder if they are bringing them back.

I liked Jack too, I never drooled over him or made an idiot of myself over him but I loved seeing him in the park!

They were on the weekday schedule that ended 2-5-2009 and since then are no longer on the schedule for 2-28-2009. Just another thing that I missed and has gone. Maybe when the season gets busier they will bring them back or some other pirates stuff.
