I booked two rooms through CAA under my membership number. (one for us and one for inlaws) CAA rep didnt say anything about needing a membership for each resevation and i didnt think anything of it until i got the package from disney saying each may have to show their membership card. We arrive on different days with me being there first, will inlaws need a membership too?

I asked the CAA rep and they were very unhelpful. Saying they could ask at disney and they should buy one, even though this was never mentioned to me by them at all. Annoying thing is CAA rate was the same as regular rate, i just booked through them to get the story reading with princess. Last time i book travel with them.

We frequently book multiple rooms under my AAA membership-- but I pay for all the rooms (and the people traveling with me reimburse me for their room). If you are paying the bill, I don't see that it would be an issue at all.

Thanks - that's what I would have thought but the CAA agent told me, after the fact, you should have one for each reservation. Maybe they are just trying to get more money out of me? Either way last time i will use them for travel.

Are you ever asked for your membership card when checking in? In my experience its usually not asked for, not sure if Disney is different?

We book AAA room only almost every year except if something else better comes along. Years ago I was never asked for my card. But I would say the last three times I was asked to show my AAA card. HTH:)

We've used the CAA discount a few times. At check-in, I've always had my card ready to show, but the CM did not really ask for it.

To be safe though, just pay for all the rooms on your credit card, as a previous poster stated, and settle it with the others later. I've done that for up to three rooms and never been asked for three CAA cards. If the parties in your group pay individually, each could be asked for a CAA card.

Just curious...why would your CAA rate be the same as rack rate? When we used the CAA discount, I booked directly with Disney and was given a 20% reduction off rack rate.

Hope you have a great trip!

Not sure about CAA/AAA, but my last visit was booked with an AP discount and it was the absolute first time they ever asked to see my AP.

I did book both on my credit card and paid for them both. They indicate the issue may be we arrive on two different dates. I would have to leave the park to meet them at the hotel if I have to be there with my card when they check in. I was thinking I should mention it to the disney rep when we check in first, but not sure if I should draw attention to it if they wont ask for the card. We did online checkin too thinking that might make it less likely to ask for the card.

We are booked through the free dining promo, and the price CAA gave me was the same as the price with booking through Disney directly. I think I could have got a CAA rate, but not with the free dining added on.

I see your potential problem with the different arrival dates. You may indeed have to meet them at check-in, if the CM's don't tell you otherwise when you check in yourself. Don't see why you should have to do this if both rooms are on the same credit card, but who knows.

I also see that you booked thru CAA re the free dining package and so could not get the room discount too.

Hope everything works out for you. Good luck.
