Has something changed with this policy ?

If you are staying onsite they give you the 180+10 for ADR, so you can really book at 190 days out.

But when I log on to my profile it gives me a lil message that says I can book my ADRs on April 2nd, but according to my dates with 180+10, my 190 date would be March 23rd

Whats up with that ?

You can not book @ 18o days. But on day 180 you can book for your whole vacation (up to 10 days) ADRS.

You can book your ADRs 180 days in advance. However, if you are staying onsite, you can book ADRs for the 10 days after your arrival day on the 180 day mark. I hope this helps!

Many people make the incorrect assumption that 180+10 = 190 days in advance. It actually means you can call 180 days for any restaurant whether you stay onsite or off, and Disney resort guests can book up to 10 additional days (basically the length of stay) of a trip.

Thanks for helping,

when did this come about ? Because the few previous times we've gone, the 180+10 was the true 190 days like previously said, as this is what we did on our last visit in Sept.

You only can do the 180+10 days if you stay onsite. Otherwise, you have to book your ADRs day by day or on the 180 day mark for your last vacation day (so you can book all of your ADRs).

Be warned that you are best served (at least as of now) when attempting to make such ADRS that the on line Disney site will not let you do it basically saying that your reservation is not "confirmed"--this just happened to me yesterday and I understand that many others are having the same fate. The good news is that you can do it telephonically and it probably was actually quicker

It's never been that 180 + 10 equals 190 for Disney, except once where they had a computer glitch. It's still 180 - the difference is that at 180 from your first vacation day, you can book for the next 10 days, instead of booking day to day.

There seems to be a recurring problem with the online system as far as it will not recognize resort reservations in order to trigger the 180 + 10 booking, so it's possible you may have to make those reservations by phone.

Yeah, I was lucky enough to have my 190 days coming up during that time for one of my trips. I was waiting for the 180 day mark, when I read here on the DIS that people were being able to make them at the 190 day mark. I immediately checked and got everything I wanted, but then worried that all my ADRs would be cancelled because I booked them too early.:rotfl: It sure didn't take them long to get that glitch fixed though.:rotfl: I go to WDW several times a year and other than that one time have always had to wait to the 180 day mark and then make them for the entire week. That little glitch was sure nice though. I was able to get everything I wanted, including two ADRs for Le Cellier and got a big choice of times for Ohana's and California Grill.:rotfl:
