Does Disney Movie Rewards ever put gift cards on sale?

The last time I got a Disney GC from DMR was 3 years ago, so I realize prices go up, but it was 750 points for a $20 card.
If it were more points, or fewer GC dollars, I would probably still take the plunge, but 1100 points for $10 is just bothering me, somehow...
So does anyone out there recall if they ever do "sales" on these?

Wow, that's a deal! The lowest I've ever "paid" for Disney GCs with DMR points was about 2 years ago at 800 points (pay for ship) for a $10 GC. It also gave me the option of 1000 points (free ship) for $10 GC, but I went with the 800 point option.

I'd like to know the answer as well. I purchased (2) cards with the 1100 option this past year and it was hard. Especially since it takes so much time to build these points up.

Yeah, I also got the $20 for 750 points deal way back when and I've not been able to 'buy' them at the current price because of that. It was 1000 for $10 for a while and now it's been 1100 for some time.

Getting actual movies seems to be a better use of the points overall.

I'm so glad to meet someone who thinks like me, at least about the GC price!
Oh well, I suppose if I never spend them, in a few decades we can have a private tour.
