Does Disney bridge direct-purchase MYW tickets to AP?

We purchased 6 day MYW tickets from Disney website back in February before the price increase. We plan to upgrade them to AP when we get to parks next week. If we use one day of the tickets and then try to upgrade them, will we receive credit for the current price of 6 day MYW tickets or only what we paid for them in February?

Unless they just changed this with the new tickets, you will receive current value for the tickets. Using it first is the key to making this work. I just did this on a recent trip, and from what I have read, the process has not changed with the new ticket price release.

If you purchased stand alone tickets directly from Disney either online, in person or by mail that were not part of a resort vacation package they are not eligible for bridging even if used first. You will only receive the price you paid for them in February.

Sorry, but that only applies to tickets purchased from third party ticket resellers and tickets bought as part of a WDW resort package.
