I just got a ding for travel through 10/31/07 from Philly to Orlando for $39 each way...too bad we're not going till April.

Check your days and see how many of the categories are filled up. If you see mostly "unavailable", it is a safe bet that there won't be a DING for your flight/day. However, if it is still wide open, there probably will be a DING. SW has yet to have a sale on your dates which SW usually does before it offers DINGs. We are going on October 31st - November 6 from Philly. I was able to get a internet special for Oct 31st at $ 49 a month or so ago but then they went up to $ 69. Today, there was a DING for $ 39 on Oct 31st and I grabbed those. However, the November 6 date has stayed at $ 69 even though it is completely wide open. I'm holding out on that one - I think (hope!) it will come down either through a sale and/or DING. Good luck and just keep checking.
