I am still looking for a deal on those ever elusive CHEAP air tickets from Colorado Springs .......

I am not sure what the prices are right now but 2 weeks ago they had LAX to MCO at 215.00 RT throug travelocity. I checked at some alternate airports and was able to get LAX TO JAX (Jacksonville, FL) for 87.00RT (112.00 with all taxes and fees) per person. I thought it was a Great rate for a cross country flight. Yes, we do have to drive 2 1/2 hours to Orlando, but for that price, we didn't care. This also was through travelocity flying on Continental.

For our trip next month, I was able to snag round-trip tix on Continental (non-stop) to MCO for $216.50. That was the lowest I had seen the price come down in quite a while. I remember back in 2000 we were able to get roundtrip tix on Continental for $129.00. I'm sure those days are long gone now. Currently, I'm looking for tix for our November cruise (week before Thanksgiving) but the roundtrip fare on Continental is over $300 per person!!! We won't be paying that price.

Hopefully, we'll be able to fly out of Akron (Airtran) or Pittsburgh (USAir). They both have had fares in the $200 range. I hope you are able to find some good deals for your trip!
