Does CashStar Best Buy GC code as "Best Buy" purchase for CC rewards?

I'm making a purchase at best buy so planning to take advantage of the CashStar rewards deal and buy gift card to use to make my purchase. I'm wondering which CC to use to make the purchase though. I get 5% back at BestBuy on my citi card. Will the BestBuy gift card purchase through CashStar/Best Buy code as "Best Buy" and earn me 5% back, or should I use my 1.5% rewards CC instead? Thanks!
