Does Cape May Cafe always have Crab Legs?

One thing some Cast Members at the Boardwalk told us was that the Crab Legs at Cape May Cafe were very good, however I don't see them listed on their menu. So I am wondering do they always have Crab Legs on their menu or are they only on there specific nights?

I remember reading a thread about this when they first started serving them and people were saying they were going to be permanent and served daily !

I sure hope it's the case !

We loved our meal at Cape May last October and yes there were crab legs and other varieties of seafood. We thought it was a fun place to eat and would certainly eat there again.

I hope they still offer them in Nov..we have been to CMCB many many times and they never had them but Dh is thrilled that they are on the buffet, he will eat more than his weight in seafood that night!

Me too! Were eating there December 1st and if they don't have crab legs I think were going to cancel and eat at Captains Grill. The only reason we want to go to Cape may is for unlimited crab legs. If they don't have them in the winter months I will be upset.

We were told in February that they would be a permanent addition to the buffet. But I would disagree with them being very good. They were small, stringy and stuck to the shells when we went and I've read countless other people saying they encountered the same.

They were permanently added to the buffet last fall.I don't eat them since I have an allergy, but Dh did.They are ok, nothing special according to him.

2) For those who like crab legs, they are only AVERAGE.
3) For many people, average is OK.

NOTE: If one thimks about it, how can non-WDW eateries charge $29-$35 for a serving of crab legs, and expensive Disney have unlimited crabs legs on a buffet? The only reason is lack of quality.

My Dh wasn't impressed but he ate a ton of them anyway. He doesn't get to eat seafood that often so when the opportunity presents itself we take advantage.

I went once a few weeks ago and the crabs legs were perfact. I went a little over a week ago and yes, they stuck to the shell quite a bit. I guess it depends on who is steaming them and how well they know how to steam them. Hit and miss I guess. Either case they were yummy tasting.

Disney secretly only harvests poor quality crab from the "poor" areas for crab.

We had them two times last Oct we must have gotten lucky because they were good each time . We may not have ever had " rich" crab before No really they were tasty both times and we had them the year before on three seperate trips and they must have been fine because we went back
