Does California Adventure have extra entertainment/shows etc on December weekends?

Hi everybody,

Just wondering if there is any extra entertainment/shows or Christmas events etc at California Adventure on December weekends, as opposed to weekdays?

Our vacation is December 10 - 16 and we have a 5-day Park Hopper. I'm wondering whether we should do 2 weekdays at DCA or 1 weekday plus 1 Sat or Sun, so as not to miss anything extra or anything Christmasy that might be happening on the busier weekends?

Because our trip includes only 1 weekend, we'd like to spend Saturday at Knotts and Sunday at Disneyland, to catch all the weekend activities etc at those parks. We don't really want to park hop on the Sunday because there's SO much to do/see at Disneyland but I'm wondering if we'll be missing out on anything extra at DCA if we visit on weekdays only. Anyone know?

Just make sure you head to DCA to see Alladin. (playing Thurs-Sun).

I don't believe they do have any extras that are specific to that park. Do they even have the electrical parade this during that time?

It doesn't start until the 18th.

We are going the 9th-16th.

You should be able to fit much of the DL Christmas stuff in even before the Sunday, as the Christmas Parade, Fantasmic and Christmas fireworks are all playing from the 9th on (hoping that this does not mean crazy busy though).

Remember it is easy to park hop between the two, even if it is only for an hour at the other park.

I'm a bit upset that we'll be missing the Electrical Parade as it starts the day after we leave for home. I've seen it before but I read that they have changed it and added some more floats. Hopefully I can find a good video of the new version somewhere online.

I haven't seen it since the original MSEP! I opted for the more popular weekend before xmas just to make sure we could see it.
