Does Boma at AKL have many options for gluten free?

My adult children and I will be staying at AKL in May. I have previously dined at both Sanaa and Jiko, both of which I loved. I would like to try Boma, but want to make sure there is a good selection of gluten free options for me (Celiac). Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance!

Boma is my absolute favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World and certainly my favorite at AKL, and while I don’t have full-on celiac, I do have a significant intolerance and need to eat gluten-free. Just let the server know at the front and they will give you an allergy menu that goes over, literally every single item in the buffet and tells you what is gluten-free and what’s not. They even offered to walk me through the menu, but it was pretty self-explanatory. We returned over and over again during our time at AKL! I prefer preferred it to Sanaa, but your mileage may vary. (I loved it so much that I ended up coming home, attempting to re-create the recipes at Boma!)

Even with it being a buffet, Boma’s is awesome for Gluten Free and Celiacs. We have eaten here at least 8 times over the past 10 years and never any issues. Many food options to choose from. They will bring your own GF desserts including Zebra Domes. It has become a must do each visit (along with Raglan Road - onion rings and Scat Cat for the beignets).

Yes, absolutely. We’ve eaten there with multiple allergies, plus celiac. The chef will walk you through the buffet, letting you know what’s safe, and they can then get your food from the back to minimize the chances of cross contamination.

We were actually there tonight- the meats and salmon were celiac safe, several of the soups/stews were, most of the cold sides, and many of the hot ones, too. There are also celiac safe rolls available upon request. The fabulous chef also put together dessert platters for both of the people in our party with dietary restrictions.

We all left there happy and stuffed!
