Does BoG require reservations for lunch?

I know it's a sort of hybrid counter service restaurant at lunch time, but it's been so busy and popular lately I just wanted to double check, especially since there are lots of people saying the lunch menu is better than the dinner. TIA!

Not for lunch which is a form of counter service. Dinner is sit down and requires an ADR.

Even though I won't be there until Nov 7th -12th,all BOG times are gone,so I've been trying to figure out how to get in for lunch....

You can get in for lunch anytime if you're willing to wait in line...usually the line takes about 25 to 30 minutes. What's your target time for waiting in line?

BOG is a counter service at lunch so it doesn't take reservations. Anyone can go, but you have to get in line while they're open for lunch. The wait is typically about 30 minutes, but it's worth it.

As far as getting a dinner reservation, you can keep checking online to see if something comes up. You never know when someone decides to cancel.

I'd be willing to get online whenever I would need to.

We wouldn't have a problem waiting an hour, as we feel that dining at WDW is part of the experience and this seems to be an experience worth waiting for.Standing on line is what one should expect at WDW,right?

So standing in a line for awhile is fine with us. We just don't know when we should get in the line-eating an early lunch isn't an issue-we just want the experience of being there.

I'd consider getting in line about 30 minutes before you're ready to eat lunch. They cut off the line at 2:30 to end lunch service, so you need to be in line before that.
