Does anyone watch "The O.C."?

I can't wait! I've been watching the Season 1 DVD's all this week to get prepared!

What does "O.C" stand for? I've never seen the show, but if it's similar to 90210, I might have to start watching!

"O.C." stands for Orange County (California). There have been a lot of comparisons to 90210, but personally, I prefer this show (and I watched 90210 in it's heyday).

OK...so we've all watched the OC. What's your thoughts???
I started watching on the last few episodes last season, so I don't know the whole story. DD watches and she tried to catch me up. But I must say even though it wasn't nice of Teresa to lie about the baby, I'm glad she let Ryan go. You could tell he was so unhappy. Boy, Marissa's mom is a piece of work isn't she? I really like Sandy and his wife...boy I need to learn these names better.

Can't wait for next week!!

I laughed out loud when I saw Seth staying with Luke. I know they were getting along when Luke left, but it still seems funny to me.

Seth sure wrecked a good thing with Summer by leaving town. By leaving, he showed that Ryan meant more to him than she did.

Last night was the first time that I ever watched it. I loved it! Okay so, the gay girl is pregnant. I can't wait to see it next week when they meet with the parents! I loved the preview where they ask her BF if he's gay too! LOL!

Minnie the show you're talking about is called North Shore. It's basically a spin-off of the OC. They showed it during the summer to keep us OC fans content, but it just never caught on like The OC did.
I absolutely LOVED last nights show. I was screaming at my TV when Ryan was going to get in his cab and Seth was just sitting there. For a moment I really thought he wouldn't go after him. I'm not sure how I feel about Marrissa. I hope that with Ryan back she'll calm down a little bit. I was speechless during the scene where she started screaming at her mom
I'm thinking that Ryan will find out sooner or later that Theresa lied about the baby, maybe later on in the season? And I really really reallllllllly hope that Seth and Summer can work it out. I love the two of them together.

I heard the Summer (Rachel Bilson) and Ryan (Benjamin McKenzie) are dating in real life. Anyone else heard this?

Megster, it's actually Rachel Bilson (Summer) and Adam Brody (Seth) that are dating in real life.

I loved last nights episode.

I loved paranoid Cal and Sandy's "I might be wearing a wire"

I know Theresa still being pregnant is going to rear it's ugly head during sweeps.

Misha Barton's (Marissa) acting is SO terrible. I was actually laughing during the screaming scene because it was so terrible.

I can't wait to see more of Mean Julie next episode, I love to hate her!

I agree. She's the worst part of the whole show. The meltdown by the pool? More comedy than drama, IMO.

I can't stand her either. She's awful. You can really tell that she's a lot younger than all the other actors.

I heard 4 new characters are coming on the show, no one is getting back together.

Anyone watch One Tree Hill-that show turned into a 90210-they just opened a new Dance Club-bring in bands. Chad Michael Murphy is dating Sophia (I can't remember her last name), I think they are engaged.

With Marisa screaming at her mom (I'd rather see her do that, then start drinking again). Teenagers do have melt downs and it is embarassing when it happens. It might have been bad acting, but just wait till your teenager does it.

Oh Mari, Marissa is drinking again! Didn't you see Summer comment on the drinks in the beginning and her drinking on the beach and drunk dialing Ryan?

And yes, teenagers have meltdowns, no one is disputing that, but Misha Barton, IMHO is a TERRIBLE actress who really drags down the entire show.

I usually like Marissa in the scenes where theres a large group of the teenagers. But thats probably because I can kind of ignore her in those scenes. I just find her very dull, both when she's acting and in interviews that I've seen with her.
