The current free dining offer does not include PO French Quarter. It has a room discount only. And 20% discount is a good discount for FQ. I've seen them get a 5% discount in the past. POR FQ is a very popular resort. I wouldn't count on it getting included in the free dining offer. But you never know what Disney might do. :confused3

But I do think that there is a good chance that PO Riverside might open up for free dining.

Anything is possible but I wouldn't expect to see free dining at POR FQ. I would keep the CSR reservation and then if the unexpected happens switch.

I doubt it. They only make offers for places that they want to increase bookings for, so POFQ must already be well booked for the rest of 2013. POFQ is the smallest resort on property so Disney doesn't have to worry about filling it as much as other resorts. I have seen free dining offered in the past, but that was always at the same time the other resorts were offered. In addition, POFQ is usually excluded from room discounts for the same reason. If you want the discount, I would keep the booking you have now. The free dining offers are also limited packages per resort so I would be afraid to cancel and give up the discount in the hope that POFQ would come up later. I just can't picture it happening.

Not sure which resort you are referring to or both, but POFQ Is often blacked out of free dining and just has a small room discount. It is a very small resort and fills up quickly. POR does have free dining, but fills up quickly because it is the best bang for the buck for a family of 5.

If you see a discount open up, book it immediately, but do not cancel your other ressie until you are sure.

Did they just start excluding POFQ from free dining this year? The past 3 years we've stayed at French Quarter in the Fall, we had FD all 3 years. This year we are going Jersey Week so I knew that it would be excluded from FD, but I was a little surprised to find that POFQ was excluded for the whole thing! I'm just curious.

I meant POR RS....sorry..lol. Do yall know much about Coronado springs?

Pofq was included for free dining in the pin offer that went around because I had one booked but switched to Riverside

This is true, but it sold out (for our dates) before the end of the promotion so I wouldn't count on more dates opening up.
