the original Luau at the Poly and the food they served?

To me it was much more authentic that what they serve today and the drinks were more Polynesian like the mai Tai, scorpion, pina colada, stringer..

I wish they would at least bring the drinks back as beer and wine just doesn't say tropical..

we used to love that meal wit hthe kids and the food was excellent but the tropical drinks were the best! perfect for a night of relaxing after the park.

having a hard time walking back to our rooms at the Poly after a few adult beverages.

Before our experience there we had never tried poi or any of the other authentic Polynesian dishes...

too bad it's gone...I still have the first puca shell necklace I received when we went and the girl who placed it around my neck the kiss was memorable too
