I think it came out in the early 90's or so? I remember really liking it and I was thinking of renting it to watch with my niece (she just finished a babysitting course and I thought she might get a kick out of it.)

However, what I can't remember is if it had any swearing and/or sex scenes or anything. I seem to remember it being pretty innocent but I want to make sure.

I usualy check for content on screenit.com but they don't have a review of this movie.

Does anyone know it and can give me an opinion on it for an 11 year old?

I think there is one F-bomb in there.

LOVED this movie!

It does have some swearing in it. "Don't *** with the Lords of H***" "Don't **** with the babysitter!" which is probably not something you want an 11 year old to hear.

btw, I often think of this movie when I'm driving into Chicago with screaming kids. :lmao:

I believe there are two F-bombs when she's on the subway with the gang people.

There may also be something in the blues club but I can't remember and it maybe milder.

I love this movie!! You might check, it might be just as cheap to buy it at Walmart as to rent it.

There's also the girlie magazine they are chasing the entire time, but I don't remember if it shows anything.

Yes, this was the first movie my dh and I saw together. We were teens. :)

That was a fun movie. I agree that there were a couple of cursewords in there, but otherwise should be okay.

Another one my friends and I liked (not about babysitting) was "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" about two girls who enter a dance competition. I know there's no cursing or sex in that one because one of my HS friends was a conservative Baptist and could only watch shows at my house that had no sex or cursing.

Another fun movie from the 80s! Hmmmm...I wonder if amazon has that too...:rotfl:

I just watched this movie not too long ago, there were a few cuss words in it, the "F" word. but the girly magazine did not show any nudity

I just love that movie. My kids loved the movie when they were little. I think I might look for it on Amazon!

When I worked at the video store during my senior year in high school and right after graduation, EVERYONE that returned that movie said "Did you know you look JUST like the Babysitter?" It was so funny. I had to hear it at least 10 times a night LOL. Of course, didn't help much her story was the same as mine as far as the dopey boyfriend that she caught cheating on her.

My favorite part was when they had to sing the blues in the club.

I love this movie! I found it at Best Buy last year in the $5 bin! It's still in the plastic though b/c I don't want DD to watch it yet & I haven't had a chance.

On a side note, have you seen "A Guy Thing?" It's a more modern movie, but hilarious!

She was the best part of that movie but then Elisabeth Shue is the best part of any movie she is in!
